This is a 53 seconds excerpt from a 2-hour durational film of cutting 1-millimeter squares on graph paper. The result of the 2016 US presidential election subverted the world I knew. The grid structures are the metaphorical norms of society. By cutting through this two-dimensional plane, I try to penetrate the system framework and see through the point of truth—the truth that underpins our minds. Seemingly fragile, the structure gradually opens up.
